10min Pause
What is it about?
The 10Min App is part of the mindfulness project of the "10MinPause" podcast, aimed at providing Persian speakers worldwide with access to content and challenges that support their mental health. Ali Eslamifar initiated this project in September 2022. The first exercise for this podcast was recorded on a mobile phone for Ali's sister and gradually made its way to podcast platforms. To maintain the original essence, we have included some of the exercises recorded on the phone here with slight modifications. Ali studied computer engineering at the Sharif University of Technology in Iran but soon realized his passion was in design and product psychology. A few years after earning his bachelor's degree, he left Iran to study design at Arizona State University. There, his professor, Dr. Heywood, a clinical psychologist, introduced him to meditation and mindfulness. Years later, Ali used these practices to alleviate his back pain. He believes that each day brings new challenges and changes, and he strives to share his experiences through mindfulness exercises with others.
