10 great case choices for the new iPhone SE

Officially arriving tomorrow on Thursday, March 31, you can purchase a 16GB version for $399 and a 64GB edition for $499. There are four different colors to select from – gold, rose gold, silver, and space gray.

And to celebrate, we’re featuring 10 great case choices for the newest member of the iPhone family.

Before we jump into the new cases, we’ve got some great news. Apple has officially confirmed that any case designed for the iPhone 5s/5 will fit the new handset. So there is already a huge number of different case choices on the market that will fit the iPhone SE. Here are some of our favorites.

While OtterBox is most well known for its line of rugged iPhone cases, the Symmetry Series is more of an everyday option. Its dual-layer design features a harder outer case along with a softer shell to help protect the handset.

A denim color option is $9.99 while you can snag a huge number of other color options for a bit more.

One of Apple’s official cases for the handset is made with tanned and finished leather. A soft microfiber lining helps to protect the handset’s interior.

Currently, you can select from a black or midnight blue version of the case for $39. Expect Apple to eventually introduce more colors to select from. If leather isn’t for you, a silicone version of the case is $35.

Speck has you covered if you’re looking for an wallet case. The CandyShell Card can fit up to three credit cards or cash on the back of the handset. A special protective layer helps to protect the cards from scraping your iPhone. When you need a credit card or cash, just push the contents out using the side-loading slot.

A black version is $23.15 while other colors cost a bit more.

Providing complete protection for your iPhone, the Engage Folio features a clear back. The screen is protected by a faux leather front cover. Inside the cover, there is enough room to store a credit card and license.

A black or white version is available to order for $29.99.

As the name suggests, this option from DODOCase features a book-like exterior made with quality fabric and a leather spine. An elastic closure helps keep the folio closed when on the go. The handset is secured in a plastic tray inside the case.

There are four different color combinations to select from that cost $44.95 each. Because each case is handmade, you will have to be a bit patient as the case is being manufactured.

For a personalized choice, Casetify will allow buyers to create a case with their favorite Instagram or Facebook photos. Or you can even upload your own images. The company also has a number of cases with some bright and unique art.

Either option is $35.

Another slim option, Griffin’s Reveal features a clear rear shell that allows Apple’s design to shine through. A slim rubber edge allows users to better grip the handset. Buyers can select one of six different band colors – orange, yellow, blue, black, white, or pink. Each option is $14.99.

This great option offers a hard outer shell and a softer inner core. You’ll have easy access to the screen and all ports with scratch-resistant skid pads and a screen surround adding an extra level of protection.

Buyers can select from five different colors – black, ice, ash, magma, and cobalt. It retails for $34.95.

The black version can be ordered now and the translucent colors will be available soon.

If you’re looking for a little extra power, Mophie’s Juice Pack Plus provides an additional 2,100mAH cell for the iPhone. That should be good enough for 10 additional hours of Internet usage on LTE networks or 12 additional hours of video playback. Four LED lights on the rear of the battery case let you know how much power is left in the case. The case itself can be recharged with a micro-USB cord.

A black version is $39.95.

Designed to protect against any type of shock to the iPhone, Tech21’s Evo Mesh is made with lightweight and flexible material.
