1Password 8 Arrives for iOS Devices With a Customizable Home Screen and More
The popular password manager 1Password has just been updated to version 8 with a number of new features.
First up, 1Password 8 sports a customizable home screen. You can hide, unhide, and reorder what’s seen depending on your preferences. Specific fields can also be pinned to view.
You can also access the navigation bar throughout the app. That allows quick home screen access, the ability to search, access to all items across accounts, and the new Watchtower feature.
With Watchtower, you can improve your overall security with actionable alerts. There is also a security score to give you a better idea on how you can improve. The feature will continually evaluate and change you score if needed.
Another new feature is Collections. They provide an easy way to create a custom group of vaults with information.
1Password is for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store.
A subscription is needed to use the app. It starts at $3.99 per month with a free trial period.
