Adobe Illustrator Arrives on iPad
Another major Adobe desktop app is making its way to iPad with the addition of Adobe Illustrator.
The graphics app takes a number of features from the popular desktop version and redesigned them for use on the tablet and with Apple Pencil.
With Apple’s stylus, you can create lines and curves, edit graphics, and more.
There are also a number of new ways to create patterns and shapes. A radial, grid, and mirror repeat allows you to create graphics into patterns. You can also create objects out of circle, triangles, squares, and stars.
You can select from more than 18,000 fonts to select from and even upload your own creations.
Adobe is promising to add additional effects, brushes, and other Sensei powered features in future updates.
You can download Adobe Illustrator now on the App Store for free. If you have a current Creative Cloud subscription, you can use the app for free.
There is also a $9.99 monthly subscription to use the app only on the tablet. You can try that for free for seven days.
