Well-known YouTube superstar, EverythingApple Pro, is back with another video, this time doing an AirPods water test to see how well the company’s new wireless earbuds can withstand water damage.

The video consists of two parts: a drop test and a water test to see how well Apple’s AirPods can withstand abuse from situations you might encounter every day.

In the drop test, EverythingApplePro goes as high as 10 feet and drops the AirPods multiple times. The results show that the AirPods can withstand drops and continue playing without missing a beat. But the more interesting part comes later in the video where he conducts a waterproof test.

To do the waterproofing test, EverythingApplePro puts the AirPods through the washer machine for about 32 minutes. After the full cycle finishes, he takes the AirPods out and much to his (and our) surprise, not only do the AirPods still charge and pair perfectly, but they also sound just as good as they did when they came out of the box.

It doesn’t end there, either. To take things further, EverythingApplePro, then submerges the AirPods under one foot of water for five minutes. The result? They still work as good as new.

Perhaps that’s why the repairability score is so bad. If you ask me, it’s worth it.
