The app lets you virtually travel around the world and combines beautiful visual scenes and immersive 3D sound made to use with headphones.
You can travel from Hawaii to Japan, Costa Rica, and more with just the touch of a button. To help make the experience even better, the app integrates with Phillips Hue lighting so you can match the color of your room with the portal.
And the app has recently been updated to version 3.0 The biggest improvement is a big increase in the number of portals. You can now travel to the Scottish Highlands and Slovenian Alps. Both of those locations brings 25 new portals.
All total, the app now features 44 portals. Each one features high-definition visuals.
Another nice new feature is the ability to download a portal and use without an Internet connection.
Portal is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
The free version provides access to six portals.
Anyone who has previously purchased a previous version of the app or an in-app purchases will be upgraded to the full content library for no charge. If you previously downloaded the app prior to the update, you can unlock all of the portals for $9.99.
New app users can unlock access to all of the portal for a $29.99 annual membership. There is a seven-day free trial available.
