Annapurna Interactive's What Remains of Edith Finch Arrives on the App Store
Annapurna Interactive has made a name for itself by publishing unique and high-quality games. Some of its games available on the App Store include Telling Lies, Donut County, Florence, Gone Home, and Sayonara Wild Hearts.
And the publisher’s first title, What Remains of Edith Finch, has just landed for iPhone and iPad.
The game, originally published in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC, is a collection fo strange tales about a family in Washington State.
You’ll play as the titular Edith. She will search and explore the huge Finch house looking at her family history to better understand why she is the last in her family alive.
Each of the stories she’ll find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death.
The stories range from the far past to the present.
All of the days vary widely in tone and gameplay. But each is a first-person perspective and ends with the family member’s death.
