The Apple App Store Is Now Offering Weekend Deals

The Apple App Store is the newest place to find great weekend deals. “This Weekend Only” launches each Thursday and will offer exclusive deals to users that last through Sunday.
Located on the App Store’s Today tab, the “This Weekend Only” feature will only offer one promotion each week. This week, however, there’s five:
- HotelTonight – up to 40 percent off original room prices
- Glasses by Warby Parker – a free geometric case with any order
- Under Armour – $20 off orders of $100 or more
- Chipotle – free chips and queso with an entree
- Shoptiques – 15 percent off orders over $100
Promotions and discounts are always nice and anything that brings more folks to the App Store is good news for Apple too. Still, I’m not sure having just one promotion each week is going to make a lot of difference. Do you?
