Ahead of iOS 11.3 Release, Apple Music Adds Music Videos Section

March 29, 2018

With the public launch of iOS 11.3 imminent, Apple has introduced a new section in Apple Music. The new Music Videos section was first uncovered by 9to5Mac.

Music Videos, like other sections in Apple Music, offers curated content based on your preferences and listening history. Located under the Browse tab in the Apple Music app, the new Music Videos location features exclusive, new, and spotlighted content. You can also find videos sorted by genre.

As 9to5Mac notes:

Users could always make their own playlists of music videos but now Apple is tailoring its own for customers to play and subscribe to. This feature will be especially useful on Apple TV, now you can simply setup Apple Music on your TV to play top songs with the accompanying videos.

Apple could release iOS 11.3 to the general public as early as today, March 29. Yesterday, Cupertino released the update for the sixth-generation iPad only. The update includes some great new features, including new battery controls, Messages in iCloud, new Animoji, and more.
