Apple Releases iOS 11.2.1, tvOS 11.2.1 with Fix for HomeKit Remote Issue

Apple has just released iOS 11.2.1 for both the iPhone and iPad. It can be downloaded now over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update or through iTunes.
The software fixes a HomeKit issue that was first publicized last week.
More precise details about the vulnerability weren’t mentioned, but it was “difficult to reproduce” and provided unauthorized users access to HomeKit products including garage door openers and locks.

iOS 11.2.1 fixes bugs including an issue that could disable remote access to shared users of the Home app.
Apple also released tvOS 11.2.1 to fix the same issue.
