Amazon Adds Apple TV 4K Listing, Video App Launch Appears Near
There’s now an Apple TV 4K listing on Amazon.com. The move suggests the long-awaited arrival of the Amazon Video app on Apple’s hobby device is approaching as well.
Back in June, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that Amazon Video would finally be coming to Apple TV “later this year.” Soon after, it was reported Amazon.com would begin selling the Apple TV once again.
Since making this announcement in June, Apple has kept mum on when Amazon Video would be arriving on the company’s set-top box. It’s probably imminent, however.
The listing for the Apple TV 4K at Amazon.com comes one day after BestAppleTV.com said Amazon Video’s debut on Apple TV would happen this week. The reason? Amazon’s coverage of Thursday Night NFL games begins this Thursday, Sept. 28.
