Apple Unveils the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro With Satellite Connectivity and More

As the highlight of today’s special media event, Apple officially unveiled the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14.

The iPhone 14 Pro sports a new display no notch. In its place is the Dynamic Island the will move depending with what’s shown on screen.

An always-on display will also show information you need without needing to interact with the iPhone 14 Pro.

It will also feature the new A16 processor.

On the photography side, the handset is sporting a 48-megapixel main camera. There is also a new 2x telephoto image option.

A new Emergency SOS feature allows you to use satellites for communication and send an emergency message. It will arrive starting in November for users in the Untied States and Canada. You can use it for free for two years.

The iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 and the larger sibling at $1099. Both will be available to pre-order this Friday, Sept. 9 and arrive the next week on Friday, Sept. 16.

The iPhone 14 will be available in two options. A 6.1-inch model and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus.

Both models will also feature the satellite connectivity and powered by an A15 processor.

The iPhone 14 will start at $799 while the iPhone 14 Plus will start at $100 more. You can pre-order both starting Friday, Sept. 9. The smaller model will hit the market Friday, September 16 with the larger model arriving on Friday, October 7.
