Apple Updates GarageBand With New Sound Packs from Lady Gaga and More
Apple has just announced a great new update for GarageBand for iPhone and iPad.
Musicians can use seven new Producer Packs from Boys Noize, Mark Lettieri, Oak Felder, Soulection, Take A Daytrip, Tom Misch, and TRAKGIRL. Each option offers royalty-free lips, beats, instruments, drum kits, sync patches, and samples that embody each producer.
There is also an in-app video from each producer where they discuss their creative process and offer words of encouragement.
Two new Remix Sessions feature Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga. Each session features the artist telling stories behind their hit songs. There is also step-by-step remix instructions using a GarageBand Live Loops version of the song.
And to celebrate the upcoming “Watch the Sound With Mark Ronson” docuseries, there is a pack with the producer that extends the viewing experience with GarageBand versions of the technology featured in each episode.
GarageBand is a free download on the App Store for both the iPhone and iPad.
