Apple’s AirPods Pro Will Arrive on Wednesday
Apple has just unveiled the newest version of its popular AirPods. AirPods Pro will land starting on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for $249.
Active Noise Cancellation and More
A big change compared to previous models is the new design. Apple includes three different sizes of flexible ear tips so users can find the size that best fits their ear.
The water-resistant and sweat-resistant earbuds also feature active noise cancellation technology. Two microphones, along with software, automatically remove external noise. The technology can adapt the sound 200 times per second.
AirPods Pro also offer Adaptive EQ that tunes the low and mid frequencies of music to the shape of your ear.
Using Transparency Mode, you can listen to music while still hearing what’s go on in the environment. You can switch the mode using Control Center or selecting a force sensor on the stem of the AirPods Pro.
With active noise cancellation turned on, the AirPods Pro can go four 4 1/2 hours on a single charge. The charging case will provide up to 24 hours of music playback.
Only available in white, you can order the AirPods Pro starting today for $249 from Apple. They will start shipping on Oct. 30. They will be available at Apple Stores later this week.
