Apple’s Clips App Update With Revamped Interface, HDR Recording for iPhone 12
Apple has just announced that version 3.0 of its video editing app Clips is now available to download.
Landscape Orientation Support and More
The biggest change is a redesigned record screen that floats on top of the screen when shooting video vertically or horizontally. That allows you to view more content thanks to redesigned Effects, Media, and Projects sections.
You can also take advantage of new content including eight stickers, six additional arrows and shapes, along with 25 new soundtracks that adjust to match the length of the videos.
On the iPad, the app sports a new interface with a large Effects browser and an easy-to-reach Record button. The app also supports to Scribble feature with an Apple Pencil that will convert handwriting into typed text.
Along with support for horizontal and vertical video, the app now also supports HDR video captured from the iPhone 12 line.
Clips is a free download for the iPhone and all iPad models.
