March 18, 2021

AstroPad Studio is a well-known way to use your iPad as a drawing tablet for use with a Mac. And the solution is branching out with with a new “Project Blue” beta that brings the same functionality to Windows PCs.

With the app, you can connect to a PC via Wi-Fi or USB. It also offers GPU support and low latency at 60fps.

The app will mirror a Windows desktop and allow you to work with any software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and much more.

Compatible with the Apple Pencil, users can also take advantage of the iPad’s touch gestures to access tools and shortcuts in Windows apps.

You can sign up for the free beta here.

A PC desktop or laptop needs Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit, Build 1809 or later. An iPad needs iOS 9.1 or later.

Upcoming additions to the app include customizable shortcuts, custom pressure curve/pressure smoothing, further latency reductions, and Luna Display integration.
