Away for Twitter Wants to Help You Use the Social Network Less
The new Twitter client Away has a unique purpose. It wants to help you keep informed without spending time on the social network.
With the app, you can see unanswered direct message and the time since your latest tweet. It will also show your precise number of followers or a rounded version to help you not stress out.
Most importantly you can see the stats for you latest tweets including replies, quotes, retweets, and likes. You can hide what stats you don’t care about.
Upcoming features include the ability to see new tweets from selected users, the latest mentions, and the ability to quick reply to messages.
It also offers deep links to your installed Twitter client where you can further interact on the social network.
Away for Twitter is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store now.
A one-time $2.99 in-app purchase will unlock the Pro version of the app. That will provide the ability to log-in to multiple accounts and see stats for the 10 latest tweets.
