Beats Fit Pro Arrive With Active Noise Cancellation, Spatial Audio
Apple’s Beats has just unveiled its newest wireless headphones—the Beats Fit Pro.
The $199 headphones can be preordered today with shipping starting this Friday, Nov. 5. Buyers can select from a black, white, sage gray, and stone purple version.
Like other Beats headphones, the Fit Pro are tailor-made for workouts. It features a flexible wingtip that’s destined to always stay in your ear.
There are three different sound modes to select from. Active noise cancellation will limit noise from the outside while Transparency will let you hear the world around you. With both of those modes turned off, the Adaptive EQ feature will fine-fine tune the music for the best possible listening experience.
The headphones also offer support for Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking. An Apple H1 chip, found in the AirPods lineup, allows quick pairing, “Hey Siri” access, and more.
By themselves, the earbuds offer up to 6 hours of music playback on a single charge. A charging case can provide an additional 21 hours of batter life for a total of 27 hours of playback. A 5-minute charge can provide 1 hour of playback.
First announce back in October at the special MacBook Pro event, you can now purchase the HomePod mini in three additional colors—orange, yellow, and blue. It’s still the same $99.
