Better Track and Measure Your Body’s Recovery With SleepRecovery

June 22, 2023

There’s one part of the fitness process you might not spend enough time focusing on—recovery.

After a tough workout, it might be difficult to know if you’re getting enough restful sleep or if your body is fully recovering after a tough workout.

But the app SleepRecovery wants to help you better understand your body during the recovery period.

Using the app in easy—just wear your paired Apple Watch to bed. While sleeping, it will track heart rate, respirator rate, and body temperature throughout the night to both determine the quality of your sleep and how well your body is recovering.

To capture your body temperature information, you’ll need to use an Apple Watch Series 8 or Apple Watch Ultra.

All of the data is used to provide a recovery score. That can help you better adjust workouts, sleep habits, and lifestyle to optimize recovery from a tough workout.

Another great addition is personalized insights and recommendations based on your recovery score so you choose the best path for you.

The information is available on both the iPhone app and the Apple Watch as well.

SleepRecovery is a $1.99 download now on the App Store.

Just to note, to properly use the app, Sleep Focus must be enabled for at least 4 hours per might for about 3 nights to begin capturing data.
