Build a Library of Color Palettes With the New App Pastel
Developers and designers often need to find the perfect color for their project. And the new app Pastel is a great way to dive head first into the world of color.
Using the app, you can capture and collect color palettes.
There are a number of ways to bring colors to the app. On the iPad, you can drag and drop in colors from Pages, Keynotes, and third-party apps.
You can also analyze photos from the photo library or files to find a dominant or other color and save it the app.
A number of different color codes including RGB, hex, Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI can be inputed into the color picker.
Pastel is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. There is a library cap of 20 items. An in-app purchase of $4.99 will unlock larger libraries.
A Mac version of the app is planned and will be a universal purchase so you won’t need to pay again.
