You can now buy BeatsX earphones at Apple retail stores and online. The move was first announced earlier this week on the Beats’ Twitter account.
First introduced in September, the $149.95 BeatsX wireless earphones feature the Apple W1 chip, which is also found on Beats’ Powerbeats 3 Wireless and Solo 3 headphones, and on Apple AirPods.
Other BeatsX features include:
- An eight-hour battery with Fast Fuel, which gives you two hours of playback from a five-minute charge
- RemoteTalk, allowing you to take calls with a built-in mic, play music, adjust volume, and activate Siri
- Launching in black and white
- Lightning charging
Unlike AirPods, BeatsX earphones use a wire between each bud. They also feature an in-ear design similar to the one found on Beats’ UrBeats wired headphones.
BeatsX earphones are available in black, white, gray, and blue models.
