Carrot Weather Update Brings New Weather Sources for Premium Club Subscribers

December 13, 2018

Sometimes, the weather can be less than amusing. Carrot Weather is an app that injects sarcasm, snide comments, and a homicidal attitude into the current conditions and forecast. It’s one weather app you don’t want to miss.

And a new update, version 4.9, is adding a number of new features.

The biggest addition is for anyone with a Premium tier subscription. Along with default provider Dark Sky you can now select data from Weather Channel, AccuWeather, and Aeris Weather.

That will definitely allow users to find the most accurate source of weather data no matter where they live. And Weather Channel and AccuWeather provide additional information – air quality index and pollen data.

The app now also integrates with Netatmo Weather Station so you can view the weather data right outside your door. Weather fans can also snag data from a personal weather station that ties into Weather Underground or PWSweather.com

All users can take advantage of new secret locations and the ability to view a recent searches section in the main Locations screen.

Anyone with an Apple Watch Series 4 can select from new options for the Infograph and Infograph Modular faces.

Carrot Weather is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.

The Premium Club membership can be unlocked with a $0.49 per month or $3.99 per year in-app purchase.

An Ultrapremium Club in-app purchase is $1.49 per month or $9.99 per year. That provides all of the premium features along with an animated radar for the current location in the United States.
