CARROT Weather Updated With Card Layout Style, New Ways to Track Storms

June 16, 2022

CARROT Weather is getting even more ways to track storms in the new version 5.7 update.

With the dual-pane radar you can compare radar station products that will split the maps screen into two separate windows on top of each other.

Speaking of the radar stations, you can now view new products including Differential Reflectivity, Spectrum Width, and Specific Differential Phase. You can use those to track different types of severe weather like hail, tornadoes, and heavy rain.

You can now also tap a storm cell to see the exact time it will reach each point along the predicted path. Tap the callout to see even more details for each cell.

The app will now also allow you to receive a notification when the Storm Prediction Center forecasts severe weather for your area in the next 24 hours.

Another great addition is a card layout style. That will show your weather forecast into an easy-to-read style.

CARROT Weather is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

Anyone who downloads the app will be able to find weather conditions on an iOS device or Apple Watch, change CARROT’s personality, and search for secret locations. Access to any other features will require a subscription.

There are three subscription levels that unlock a wide variety of additional features.
