To mark the 25th anniversary of the groundbreaking first-person shooter DOOM, Bethesda has dropped some surprises onto the App Store.
Most importantly, DOOM II is available to play on the iPhone and iPad for the first time. The sequel to the original features the Super Shotgun and the unique boss the Icon of Sin.
The game also includes the Master Levels, 20 additional levels made by the community supervised by the developers.
You can also battle in the depths of hell with local 4-player multiplayer and local 4-player co-op modes.
DOOM II is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
Fans of the original will also be happy to see that the game has been updated to work on modern iOS devices.
