Check Out the Final 'iPhone 7' Rumors Ahead of Apple's Event

Last minute images purportedly showing the next iPhone have leaked on Vietnamese website Techsignin (via 9to5Mac). The images show the backside of the device and seem to confirm a rumored new four-part LED flash for the device’s camera.

You’ll also notice that one of the handsets is “dark black,” a color choice long-rumored.

A third photo shows a SIM tray that includes a rubber seal. The iPhone 7 is expected to receive an IPX7 waterproof rating, which allows for submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.

The validity of these images has not been confirmed. We’ll know soon enough whether they were correct or fakes.

As things stand, the next iPhone should feature the following:

• Colors: Spacy Gray is out in 2016, as Apple elects to add two new colors: “dark black” and “piano black.”
• Storage: The iPhone 7 to be offered in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB models.
• Performance boost: The upcoming “A10” chip features a new ‘InFo’ process, which could increase clock speeds to 2.4GHz.
• The dual-camera on the 5.5-inch “iPhone 7 Plus” will feature both a wide-angle and a telephoto lens, each 12 megapixels. Meanwhile, the flash will go from two LEDs to four.
• IPX7 rating: Your phone will survive being submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
• Display: True Tone is jumping from the 9.7-inch iPad Pro to the iPhone 7.
• New earbuds: Wireless “AirPods” could launch alongside the new phone. These will be an add-on accessory.
