Cibo Helps Make Ordering at a Restaurant Abroad Easy

Cibo Helps Make Ordering at a Restaurant Abroad Easy

September 7, 2021

You might be traveling abroad and are trying to have a meal at a local restaurant. But when the menu comes, it’s time for confusion if you don’t speak the native language.

Cibo

But the new app Cibo from developer Jordi Bruin is designed to help you better understand what to order.

Instead of frantically searching Google for an image of the dish, just open up Cibo.

Choose the color of the menu so the app can better read what’s on the page. Point your iPhone camera at the menu.

You can then select a dish and see an image of what to expect.

While it’s probably not exact, the app should definitely let you know what to expect and avoid a disaster.

Cibo is designed for the iPhone. It’s a free download on the App Store.

You can scan 50 minutes items with the free version.

To unlock unlimited scans, you’ll need to make a $1.99 in-app purchase.

The app currently supports translation in eight languages: English, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, Romanian, French, and Spanish.
