Clean Up and Organize Your Photo Library with the Updated BestPhotos

October 17, 2018

The ability to take a seemingly unlimited amount of photos and videos with an iPhone or iPad can sometimes be both a blessing and a curse. Most users probably have hundreds, or maybe thousands, of photos in their Photo Library just taking up space.

But the newly updated BestPhotos wants to tidy up your Photo Library. The app is designed to clean up your library by removing duplicates and extra photos. You can also quickly and easily select to keep only the best photos in your library and trash the rest.

And the app has added a number of new features with the move to version 2.0. The most obvious addition as an improved interface with a dual-column layout.

Anyone with the iPad version of the app can now also swipe to delete or favorite photos. Previously, that feature was only available on the iPhone. You can now also touch, hold, and then drag to select multiple photos.

WIth iOS 12, users can create a number of different Siri Shortcuts to jump back to today, this week, or this month in the app.

You can also view stats about the last 12 months of photos.

Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, BestPhotos can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

An additional $2.99 in-app purchase will unlock a number of additional features including the ability to inspect EXIF data on both photos and videos, automatic duplicate photos deletion, vertical video and screen recording search, and a dark mode.

The great photo organization app offers a number of new features with a big update including Siri Shortcuts and more.
