Communicate in 82 Languages With the New Pocketalk App
Pocketalk is well known for its lineup of handheld, real-time translation devices. And now the company is bringing the same technology to its new app.
The app can translate 82 languages as long was you have a Wi-Fi or cellular signal.
To get started, choose the language you want to speak and then the language to translate to.
Hold down the translate button and speak to activate. When speaking, the app will translate the text into the language you’ve selected.
You can also take advantage of a text-to-translate camera that will allow you to translate text, like for example on a road sign or restaurant menu.
Finally, the app also offer a conversion feature for currency exchange rate, length, width, and temperature.
The Pocketalk App is designed for the iPhone and is a free download on the App Store now.
You’ll need a subscription to use the app. That’s $2.99 monthly or $29.99 yearly. There is a free, three-day trial after downloading.
