Concertino Brings Classical Music Into Focus on Apple Music
Streaming services are made for modern music. But the new app Concertino brings classical music on Apple Music into focus.
The app, which is available on the web, is a classical music jukebox for the streaming service. Instead of singers, albums, and tracks, Concertino focuses on composers, works, performers, and movements.
Classical music fans can browse 220 composers and their works organized alphabetically, popular, essential, by genre, and by period. You can also select favorite composers and works and directly access them.
You can also set specific works as favorites or create a playlist. The app also offers different radio stations for listening.
When listening to works, the player shows a detailed view of each movement and a global progress bar of the entire work.
Concertino is for the iPhone and can be downloaded for free now. You’ll need an Apple Music subscription.
