Darkroom Adds New Video Editing Features
Darkroom has always been one of our favorite ways to edit photos thanks to its iCloud Photo Library integration and powerful feature set. And with a new update, the app is taking a big step forward with app-wide support for editing videos.
New Filters for Your Videos
The Metadata Viewer has been improved with additional icons and support for video information.
After capturing a video in your chosen app, they will automatically be available to view in Darkroom.
When done making changes, you can select the Modify Original feature to export that changes without creating another copy in a library. The option is non-destructive so you can always revert any changes made.
For multiple videos, there is also a great Batch Paste & Export feature. The app provides support for H.264 and HEVC encoding at a number of bitrates when exporting.
Along with the video editing feature, the app has added five cinematic filters to give videos a unique look.
The app’s Metadata Viewer has been improved to support video information and icons for photo metadata.
