Directive Helps Makes Routine Maintenance Easy
No one likes doing preventative maintenance. But keeping track of the different tasks inside and outside your home can prevent the need for repair and save time and money.
The new app Directive wants to be the place where you stay up-to-date with all of these different tasks.
To start, the app offers a number of templates to help set up different maintenance tasks like change your car oil, test a smoke detector, and much more. You can also create a custom option.
When the task needs to be done, the app will send a notification. When you mark it as complete, Directive will keep a record of it and any notes you record. It will automatically be set up as a reminder for the next time it’s due.
As a nice touch for each reminder, you can add specific details like a filter size or oil type. Action buttons can help you buy parts, find service contractors, or view instructions.
Directive - Maintenance App is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. It’s also available on the Mac as a universal purchase.
You can track up to 10 tasks with the free version.
A Directive Pro subscription is also available for $1.99 yearly. With that option, you can track unlimited tasks and use iCloud sync to view and interact with tasks on all of your devices.
Subscribers can also unlock additional customization options like the ability to set custom repeat intervals for tasks.
