Disney Crossy Road soft launches in Canada
We just received the official word a few weeks ago that this new game was headed our way and it has just soft launched in Canada. Disney Crossy Road comes from Hipster Whale, the creators of the wildly popular Crossy Road, and of course, Disney.
Game overview
- Over 100 nifty Disney and Pixar characters including Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, and Mufasa
- Nine unique worlds with themes from Toy Story to The Haunted Mansion to The Lion King
- Special challenges and obstacles such as blizzards, stampedes, and falling barrels
- Colorful 8-bit graphics and familiar songs

The game does look fun and should be hit amongst both Disney and Crossy Road fans. With the classic characters we know and love combined with the endless arcade hopper challenge, it sounds like a good mix.
Disney Crossy Road is available for free on iPhone and iPad on the Canada App Store. There are in-app purchases for additional characters, or figurines, as referred to in the game.
So, what about the rest of the world? Well, we are not quite sure when the game will be officially released worldwide or even specifically in the United States. That means you will just have to pop back over to AppAdvice for updates.
