Download Your Spotify Library to Have Your Tunes Offline

That’s right, it’s really that easy to download your Spotify library. Once you launch the Spotify app on your iPhone or iPad, then tap on Your Library. Once there, tap on Songs, and then you’ll see a toggle switch labeled Download. Switch that on, and your entire Spotify library will begin downloading for offline listening. Note that this will only download songs you’ve saved to your library, not necessarily the tracks you’ve added to playlists. Be careful to ensure you’re on Wi-Fi when you do this, unless you have unlimited data on your cell phone.

I’m not sure why I’m asked so many times how to do this, but to be perfectly honest, I had to scratch my head a bit to find it myself. I suppose we just don’t visit the Songs page in our library as much as we do the other parts of Spotify. It’s a cinch for most of us to figure out how to download albums or playlists, but most folks just don’t go into Songs view and notice the button there.

If you don’t have that option, chances are you aren’t a Spotify Premium subscriber. The app won’t provide you with the option to upgrade, so you’ll have to go to Spotify’s website to upgrade.
