Drawing App Linea Sketch Updated With Organic Ink and More
If you’re looking for a great iPad sketching app, Linea Sketch definitely has everything you need.
The app is made to help you focus on the creation process instead of different tools. All of the controls of made to stay out of the way until needed. Compatible with the Apple Pencil, you can select from a wide range of predefined colors or even create you own with just a tap.
For more difficult drawings, you can create up to five layers that can be dragged, merged, or cleared. You can even record your creative process and save a full-length video or a compressed, 30-second slip.
And the app has recently been updated to version 4.2 with a number of new features.
With the new Organic Ink, you can now create textured strokes and fills when sketching. The final result provides a unique natural appearance. Apple Pencil users can tilt the style to quickly shade wide areas with the texture.
Importing and exporting files is now much easier. You can now import multiple images simultaneously. You can also import multi-page PDFs for quick annotation.
Finally, the ZipLines feature now respond to pressure when you draw. That allows for a thin and light start to a line that finishes thick and bold. The line will update as you drag the endpoint and adjust the pressure.
Linea Sketch is designed for the all iPad models and the iPhone. Sketches automatically appear on all of your devices thanks to iCloud sync. It’s a free download on the App Store now.
A Linea Premium subscription will unlock a number of additional features. That includes the ability to add editable text to sketches, create texture strokes and edges with a neutral look, paint and fill sketches organically, and draw inside or re-color existing canvas elements. You can also organize drawings by creating different collections.
There is two different subscription options, $0.99 per month or $9.99 yearly. You can also unlock those features for the lifetime of the app for $29.99.
