It’s time to head back to prison. Escapists 2: Pocket Breakout has made its way to the App Store with all the fun of the original and more.
If you couldn’t tell by the name, the new game is all about finding your way out of prison. To begin, you create an inmate with hundreds of different customization options. Then it’s time to craft an escape plan.
There are five unique prisons to escape from with more coming free in the future. The prisons range from minimum security to hardened penitentiaries.
Escaping isn’t easy. You’ll need to pretend to adapt to prison routines while completing jobs and beating up prisoners and guards while gathering the tools to escape.
There are four different control schemes to play including a virtual joystick, touch controls, and the ability to use MFi controllers.
And the game is even better with friends. In a local multiplayer mode, three additional friends can join in on the fun and creating even more elaborate plans to escape.
