Fête App Offers Event Invitations That Everyone Can Use
Sending event invitations to everyone is just easier with Fête: an intelligent, classy way to send invites out to friends and family via app and text.
If you’ve ever tried to coordinate something like going to a movie with friends, you know that the options out there, like Facebook Events or apps like GroupMe or Slack, are a bit lacking.
The worst part is getting folks to RSVP; for all my bugging, there’s at least one or two people that just never seem to respond. If you’re planning something where numbers are important, like a dinner with reservations, this can be a serious problem.

So many uses
Weekly dinners, birthday parties, kickball teams, cocktails with co-workers: you name it, you can use Fete to plan it. It's easy to either set the details yourself, or unlock them for invited guests to vote for their favorite place, time, or activity.
Create events
Creating an event is a simple, visual affair. Simply tap the Plus button, enter a Title, Time, Date, and Place, and then send invitations to all your friends or family. Guests with the app will be able to RSVP within it, while others can respond via text.
Location matters
When you're creating an event, search for local venues to easily add them. This makes sure your guests won't get lost, either, as they'll have the official location right in the invite. You'll need to give Fete location permissions, of course.
Setting backgrounds
Nothing makes an invite stand out like classy imagery. Fete has more than 25 built-in backgrounds to make sure your invite is one none of your guests will forget.
Send and receive via text
Your guests won't need the Fete app, either, to see and respond to your invite. If you've got their mobile number, Fete will send the invite to them via SMS, with a Y/N and +1 options right in the invitation, along with the pretty imagery you chose when creating the invite. It's win-win for everyone.
Created by developers Sanket Shah, Raj Parikh, and John Dugan, Fête was inspired by Shah’s time working as an urban designer in Paris. The vibrancy of Parisian life was something he wanted to bring home to our own app economy.
Shah brags that his app fetches a staggeringly high 85 percent RSVP rate (or more), which makes sense since everyone can use it regardless of platform or even app install.
