FlickType Notes is an Easy-to-Use Apple Watch Keyboard for Capturing a Quick Thought
Originally arriving in 2018, FlickType Keyboard provided a very useable keyboard to the small screen of the Apple Watch. We even named the app our Top Apple Watch App of the Year.
And the team behind the app is branching out with the new app FlickType Notes. As you could probably tell be the name, the new app is focusing on note-taking.
Just like the original app, the notes version of the keyboard is actually very easy-to-use on the Apple Watch, especially with the larger screen of the Series 4 and Series 5.
It’s a more traditional option where you can see what you’re typing while entering the text. When done entering information, swipe down to see all of the text.
While typing, you can also use the Digital Crown to change the corrections while typing.
When starting a note, you can also long-press the “+” button to choose a custom note color.
All of your notes are synced via iCloud so you can view the text on your iPhone as well.
