Flighty 3 Lands With Ability to Share Flight Info With Friends and Family

You can track a wide variety of information and even know where your flight is 25 hours before your departure time.
I’ve used the app for a number of flights for business and with family, and it amazes me how I’m informed of a flight change or other information sometimes many minutes before I will see the airline’s app update.
And Flighty 3.0 has just arrived at the gate with a great new way to share flight information with friends and family.
It never fails when your traveling, friends and family ask for flight information so they can pick you up from the airport to just track when you arrive. But with the update app, you can invite anyone to share their flight information in the app.
You can add a person once and you’ll never have to manually send information again. Flighty will automatically update the information. The information is only available to people you shared the information with and won’t reveal sensitive details like a booking code.
Sharing flights is free and you can even share the info with people who don’t have the app via a browser.
Flight sharing can be turned on and off whenever you choose.
A new Today screen will show the flight location of everyone you’ve added if their flights take off within 24 hours. After takeoff, track their plane in real time.
Flighty is a free download for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It’s available on the Mac App Store.
With the free version, you can add unlimited flight and new the live-streaming data.
The get the most out of the app, you’ll need a Flighty Pro subscription for $5.99 per month or $47.99 yearly. There is also a lifetime unlock for $249. You can also pay a bit more and share the subscription with family.
Subscribers can take advantage of additional features like push alert, Live Activities, arrival forecast, calendar sync, and iCloud sync.
