Flighty Arrives With New Apple Watch App, iOS 17 StandBy Widget
Modern air travel is definitely stressful. But Flighty can make it just a bit better. The app is one of the best flight trackers available.
Winner of an Apple Design Award earlier this year at WWDC 2023 it works for everyone airline and flight worldwide. You can see more information that you can imagine for your flight. It will even start monitoring the flight 25 hours before your departure.
And the app is taking off into a new frontier with its latest update. Flighty is now available on the Apple Watch starting with version 3.1.
On the watch app, you can browse flights, view live status, see flight progress, delays, and much more.
Instead of having to open up the watch app, you can use a complication to see the information you need on a watch face. All of the information will dynamically change during the journey, starting with a confirmation code and ending with baggage claim information.
You can also add a Flighty widget to the Smart Stack in watchOS 10. It will know when you’re flying and automatically appear during the flight with relevant information. It will then disappear after you’re done with the journey.
For iPhone users, the update also brings a new StandBy widget so you can view your flight status at a glance.
Flighty is a free download for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. It’s available on the Mac App Store.
The get the most out of the app, you’ll need a Flighty Pro subscription for $5.99 per month or $47.99 yearly. There is also a lifetime unlock for $249. You can also pay a bit more and share the subscription with family.
Subscribers can take advantage of additional features like push alert, Live Activities, arrival forecast, calendar sync, and iCloud sync. You’ll need to subscribe to use complications on the Apple Watch.
If you’re a new to Flighty, you can experience all of the Pro subscription features for free on your first flight.
