Get on the FastTrack with your tunes in a widget
How quickly can you get to your favorite tunes? Have you ever wished you could open your songs with just a tap? Say hello to FastTrack, a neat new app that puts your jams in your Notification Center, making them just a tap away.
Browse by genre, artist, and more
You can look for tunes by genre, artist, album, or song. You can also select one or more of your existing playlists.
Make your selections
Choose the tunes you want to access quickly. Tap from any of the areas to add albums, entire genres, or playlists to your picks.
Open your Notification Center
When it’s time to boogie, just pop open your Notification Center and tap to play. And, just click More if you have several saved picks to see them all.
FastTrack brings a really good concept to accessing your music quickly with a widget. There is no delay; the song you pick plays immediately. One small issue you might notice is that the artwork does not always match up with the song or artist. It would also be nice to be able to control playback from the widget. But, overall the app definitely has potential and is one to hang onto for fast access to your tunes.
FastTrack is available for free on the App Store with a $0.99 in-app purchase to remove the ads.
Note that the app only works with your iTunes or Apple Music libraries.
