Shortcuts are one of the most overlooked features in iOS. You can use a shortcut to bring together actions from different apps and services to help become more productive. They can be created by you or download shortcuts created by others.

Originally released in late 2019, the MusicBot is from Federico Viticci of MacStories. Sporting 781 different actions, the shortcut helps you make better use of Apple Music.

Some of the things you can do with the all-in-one assistant include play music, get quick access to your favorite albums, and more.

And the assistant is getting even better with its 1.1 update.

One of the best improvements is the compact UI so you’ll not have to leave the home screen or share sheet.

The shortcut can now also recognize songs using Shazam and save the songs in a playlist or open it in Apple Music. Other additions include the ability to view music news and reviews and see release dates for albums and singles. You can also save upcoming releases to a calendar.

You can download the shortcut here.
