Developer Sago Mini continues to impress with its huge stable of great children’s apps available on the App Store.
And the newest addition, Sago Mini Words, comes from a partnership with Otsimo, developer of game-based learning apps for children with special needs.
The new app is designed for children 5 and under and uses gameplay mirroring scientific approaches in speed therapy.
One of the main components of the app are videos. Kids learn how to speak by seeing others and the videos are designed to strengthen articulation and comprehension.
As you child progresses, the app listens and adjust their learning goals based on progress and in-game behavior.
Kids can select from a wide variety of topics they are interested in while developing vocabulary. The app will also be updated monthly with new content.
Sago Mini First Words is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store.
You’ll need a subscription to use the app. Two options are available—$7.99 monthly or $29.99 per year.
