Apple has officially released the first public betas of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, tvOS 17, and macOS Sonoma.

To sign up and get started, head the Apple’s Beta Software Program site now.

You’ll need to login to the site with your Apple ID and then follow the instructions.

Since all of the software is still in beta form, don’t expect of perfect experience. And make sure to keep up-to-date downloads of all your devices if something goes wrong.

Apple will release updated beta versions throughout the summer until the software is officially released sometime this fall.

There’s no charge to enroll in the public beta program.

If you run into any bugs or other issues with the software, you can use the built-in Feedback Assistant app.

Anyone who tries out the public betas will get to experience a number of new features.

The highlighting additions in iOS 17 include improvements in the Phone and Messages app along with a new StandBy experience that will show useful information on the screen when charging including Live Activities and Siri results.

In iPadOS 17, you can personalize your own lock screen, use interactive widgets, and much more.

With watchOS 10, Apple Watch wearers can enjoy a number of redesigned apps, new watch faces, and a Smart Stack that will provide a quick glance at the information you need by just Turing the Digital Crown.

FaceTime will come to tvOS 17 along with a new Control Center and the ability to find the second-generation or later Apple TV remote with the Find My app.

macOS Sonoma offers a desktop widgets, new screensavers, and more.
