Just in time for the holiday shopping season, eBay has updated its official iOS app with improvements that are meant to make users’ browsing and buying experience not only more intuitive but more personalized as well.
From Black Friday through the holiday season, the eBay app will let you in on deals, discounts, and auctions on various products, including gifts for yourself and others. But during and beyond your holiday shopping spree, the app will also let you discover items with its significantly improved experience, including enhanced search for finding new products and personalized recommendations based on your shopping habits.
Personalized home shopping
On the home screen, expect not only to pick up where you left off with your watched and recently viewed items, but also to find content that’s tailored just for you, including deals and bestsellers based on your recent activity.
Category browsing
Tap Categories on the home screen to start browsing categories and subcategories with ease and discover relevant and bestselling products at any category level.
Product buying
Product pages help you make informed purchasing decisions by presenting you with different choices from eBay’s inventory — including previous models as well as the latest generations — and ratings and reviews from members of the eBay community.
The latest update to eBay for iOS also adds the ability for sellers to access product photos directly from iCloud when listing items for sale.
