'iPhone 8' Could Come in 4 Colors, Including a Mirror Like Option

Apple Rumors
July 10, 2017

Apple’s next flagship device, the so-called “iPhone 8,” could come in four colors, including a new mirror like option, according to master leaker Benjamin Geskin.

In a Twitter post published over the weekend, Geskin explains “2017 OLED iPhone – four colors. New one – mirror like.” The accompanying image shows a current-generation iPhone in a third-party reflective case.

Naturally, there’s no way to confirm Geskin’s claims. It’s worth noting, however, that just last week KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted: “to maintain (the iPhone 8’s) boutique image, we think the OLED version will offer fewer options for casing colors than LCD iPhone models.”

The iPhone 7/7 Plus is currently offered in six shades, including jet black, black, gold, silver, rose gold, and (PRODUCT)RED. Apple could elect to use three of these colors to round out the iPhone 8 lineup or go in another direction.

Apple’s expected to unveil the 5.8-inch iPhone 8 in early September alongside a 4.7-inch “iPhone 7s” and 5.5-inch “iPhone 7s Plus.”
