Kavel Brings a New Way to Enjoy Puzzlers
You don’t have to look far to find a puzzler on the App Store. But the new game Kavel mixes up the usual formula with some great results.
The game does a great job combining a match-3 puzzler and block games. You’ll rotate and drag different tetrominoes onto the game board filled with five different shapes.
Points are scored when the matched shapes are the same. To help do that, you can tap on the screen to rotate the tetromino.
There are three different games modes to enjoy. In the casual options, you have time to plan your attack. The completely opposite frenzy mode gives you just 90 seconds to garner the best score.
And the zen mode allows you to relax with no end.
The game is colorblind friendly and is playable with any form of colorblindness. There is also a color pallet optimized for colorblindness.
Kavel is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $0.99.
