Khan Academy Kids is a Completely Free Education App for Children
Khan Academy has always been known as a great place to learn about any subject imaginable for free. And the non-profit organization is expanding its reach with the new Khan Academy Kids app.
Designed for kids 2-5, the app features thousands of activities, books, videos, and learning lessons. Subjects like math and reading are combined with creative activities like drawing and storytelling to make learning even more fun.
In the app, animated animals guide kids through the educational material at their correct level. During learning, they can collect bugs, hats, toys, and more for their favorite characters.
Instead of just focusing on a specific area, the app provides a complete learning experience across a number of different subjects. Parents are also encouraged to participate along with their children. You can also view their child’s progress on activities in the Library and create accounts for different children.
Khan Academy Kids is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
