Kids Can Learn from a World Champion in Magnus of Kingdom of Chess
Enjoyed by hundreds of millions worldwide, chess is a game that challenges your mind to use logic, concentration, and more. And a new app, Magnus Kingdom of Chess, is designed to teach the finer points of the game to children 5 and older.
The app developers have collaborated with the current World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen to provide a great way for kids to learn the game.
By introducing to the rules and strategies of the game, the app hopes to make the transition to a real board.
During the game, kids will be introduced to each piece of the chess board in six different worlds. They will also meet Carlsen and a mysterious prince. In each world, kids will solve chess situations and apply more rules.
Along with an introduction to basic checkmating techniques against a lone king, player will complete games against a basic chess engine.
Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, Magnus Kingdom of Chess can be downloaded now on the App Stop for $7.99. There are no in-app purchases or other advertisements.
