Kids Can Learn More About the World Around Them With Light & Color by Tinybop

October 13, 2021

Tinybop is back with its latest app designed to help young children learn more about the world around them.

As you might tell but the name, Light & Color lets kids 4 and up explore a rainbow and much more.

The first focus of the app is light. Kids can see how light bounces, refracts, and reflects while they work with models our prisms, mirrors, and lenses.

There are also a number of light sources to experiment with light candles, incandescent lights, and lasers.

And that’s far from all of the fun. Kids can make rainbows by generating storms and peek inside a raindrop to find out how rainbows are created.

To better explore the science of light, you can mix different colors. Playing with color sorting blocks will help kids learn about different color systems.

Another fun feature is that kids can collect, capture, match, and name colors with augmented reality.

Parents or teachers can even download this free handbook to help learners better understand the app’s concepts.

Light & Color by Tinybop is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a $3.99 download on the App Store now. There are no advertisements or in-app purchases.
