Latest QubeTown Update Adds Moles, Town Skins and New Mini-Game
If you’re anything like us, you’re getting bored of building towns, going on quests, leveling up, buying gear, and doing all the stuff you need to do to get ahead in a traditional fantasy RPG. The problem is, all those games look the same, and they play the same too

That’s why we like QubeTown. This adorable base-building multiplayer mobile RPG from Webzen has all the gameplay depth of a traditional RPG, but a completely different aesthetic and a number of clever twists.
Casting you in the role of a lord who doesn’t want to be there, the game sees you planting and harvesting crops, feeding pigs and cows, baking bread, churning butter, and more. And that’s just in the first level.
As you level up and earn more cash you’ll unlock more building types, construct more buildings, grow your population, summon new heroes, mine for minerals, trade your wares, fight goblins, play mini-games, chop down trees, claim more territory, and so on.
That’s the QubeTown we’ve all been happily playing since it launched a few months ago, and in a few days we’ll be playing it a little bit more happily thanks to the latest update.
The newest version of QubeTown will add three things of note. The first is a new Outbreak feature, which sees you clearing outbreaks of pesky moles in your friends’ towns, to punctuate the outbreaks of pesky goblins and krakens.
Next up there’s a new mini-game, called Stack Up. This game involves stacking blocks as high as you can, making sure to keep the exploding blocks as far away as possible, and trying to match Clover blocks for power-ups such as an hourglass, an extra life, or extra clovers.
Finally, the update adds a new town skin feature, which allows you to change the appearance of your various buildings, with three themes to choose from.
QubeTown is available for free now on the App Store. The update is available now for the game, which is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models.
The game can also be downloaded on Google Play.
